Fred reminds us that discipleship is the key to transforming our world, our society, our communities and our local church. Evangelism begins with the knowledge that “Christ died for me”. From there, one can prioritize their life in such a way that God can use them to see the people he puts in their life as potential children of God.

Fred Hall brought another dynamic message to an audience containing many church leaders and their families from Matador and surrounding communities. The final installment of the Fall Gospel Meeting will be tonight at 7 pm when Fred will be discussing “Challenges Facing Evangelism”. Everyone is welcome to come hear Fred Hall and plan to stay for supper following the lesson.
A large crowd gathered at the Matador church of Christ last night to hear Fred Hall share thoughts from the scriptures. Fred’s focus was on the Biblical family. Fred used Ephesians chapter 6 as well as other scriptures, from the Proverbs especially, to highlight God’s preferred plan for families. Fred discussed leadership, discipline and honoring parents. Many young people in the audience that were present were benefited by this Biblical wisdom as well.
“Challenges Facing Leadership” is tonight’s lesson topic. The message will encompass all aspects of Biblical leadership and, more specifically, challenges leaders face in today’s world. Join us at 7 pm for Fred’s presentation and be sure to remain afterwards for a complimentary supper.
Fred Hall brought challenging messages on Sunday, October 6, at the Fall Gospel meeting at the church of Christ that meets in Matador, Texas. Three topics in the series, “Challenges Facing us Today”, were presented to audiences eager to discover God’s plan for his people, his church and marriage.
Fred will be speaking again tonight at 7 pm at the Matador church of Christ. His topic will be, “Challenges Facing the Home”. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Bring your Bible to search God’s word for yourself. Supper will be served after the presentation in the fellowship hall.
“Why do we worship? Do you feel that God owes you something? What has God done for us?” All these questions and more are addressed in the first lesson.
How has the rise of Godless secularism begun to infiltrate the church? The church must reestablish the absolute truth and authority of the Bible and begin to speak out.
When marriage has been undermined by role reversal, the culprit is a lack of leadership by the husband, which requires the woman to step into the role. How can men retake their rightful place in the home, church and society?
Sunday morning at 10 am, Fred Hall will be presenting the first lesson in his series, “Challenges Facing us Today”. Fred will begin by discussing the many things that can challenge our faith and continue by expanding the topic, at the 11 am service, to include challenges faced by today’s church. Everyone is welcome to attend each of these meetings and then to stay and enjoy a potluck fellowship afterwards which will be provided by the ladies of the Matador congregation.
